Joe Hisaishi 's concert in Paris

"I usually play the piano solos myself. When I write music I make it a rule to always play the piano myself. Just as a song's dynamic changes with the singer, I believe that I must play my own music so that my flavor is there."

Tonight I attended the MOST extraordinary concert ever.

Joe Hisaishi was in Paris for a special charity concert, in order to raise money for Japan and Tsunami victims.

The musics are incredible.
Mr Hisaishi seemed glad, smiling all the time or surprised, very kind, close to the public and the musicians.
The public was like crazy-happy fans.
There were many musicians and far MORE chorists.

We (the audience) applauded twice during "Totoro".
We all said "Oh" or "Ah" at the beginning of almost every music.
We stood up between the last four musics.
We cried.
We whispered lyrics and melodies.

It was AMAZING.

If you don't know Joe Hisaishi, you may know
Totoro
Chihiro
Momonoke Princess
Ponyo
...
All those Hayao Miyazaki's masterpieces.
All musics were composed by Joe Hisaishi.

Today I want to say :

どうもありがとうございます 久石讓

(Thank you so much Mr Hisaishi)

Just LISTEN and ENJOY :-)

"She loves you
And you know you should be glad.
With a love like that,
You know you should
Be GLAD !"

"She loves you"

"So whenever I hear The Beatles,
I always feel I've got a lot in common with everybody else."

Robyn Hitchcock

***

"I am not the Beatles.
I'm me.
Paul isn't the Beatles...
The Beatles are the Beatles.
Separately, they are separate."

John Lennon

***

"The things is, we're all really the same person.
We're just four parts of the one."

Paul McCartney

***

"All you could do was to see them.
We were backstage when the Beatles were on and you could just about hear a noise.
It was just literally screaming."

Roger Daltrey
from "The Who"

Who said that fan hysteria started in the 90's ??

Watch that...

(c) "She loves you" by The Beatles (Live 1963)

Lyrics :

She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

You think you lost your love,
Well, I saw her yesterday.
It's you she's thinking of
And she told me what to say.

She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad.
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad.

She said you hurt her so
She almost lost her mind.
But now she said she knows
You're not the hurting kind.

She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad.
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad. Ooh!

She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
And with a love like that
You know you should be glad.

You know it's up to you,
I think it's only fair,
Pride can hurt you, too,
Apologize to her

Because she loves you
And you know that can't be bad.
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad. Ooh!

She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah

With a love like that
You know you should
Be Glad!

With a love like that
You know you should
Be Glad!

With a love like that
You know you should
be glad!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah Ye-ah.
